- What browsers are supported in HOMEBankersm?
- How do I know what version of the browser I am using?

General Browser Answers
- What browsers are supported in HOMEBankersm?
The link to that information is located on the HOMEBanker login screen. Click on the "If you are experiencing difficulties logging on, click 'here' link."
- How do I know what version of the browser I am using?
- IE Browsers: Click on "Help" and "About Internet Exploror" on the tool bar.
- Netscape Browsers: Click on "Help" and then "About Netscape"
- AOLBrowsers: Click on "Help and then "About America OnLine"
- Firefox: Click on "Help" and then "About Mozilla Firefox "
- How can I tell if I have a 40-bit or 128-bit browser?
Your browser encryption level can be found in the "Help / About" page. Please refer to question two, above, for directions to obtain "Help / About".
- How do I clear my cache?
AOL:
- From the AOL toolbar, select "Settings" .
- In the Settings menu click "Preferences". This gives you control over all of your AOL settings.
- In the Preferences window, click "Internet Properties WWW". (It may just read "WWW") These are your AOL browser settings.
- There is a section titled "Temporary Internet Files". Select "Delete Files". This will remove ALL of your temporary pages that AOL has stored.
Firefox
- On the menu bar at the top, select "Tools".
- Select "Options" from the drop-down menu.
- On the Privacy window, open up the "Cache" Category. (The "+" sign becomes a "-")
- Click on "Clear" and click on "Ok" to confirm.
- If you want to change your browser settings, you can do so right on this window. It is the last option setting on that Cache window.
Internet Explorer (IE):
- On the menu bar at the top, select "Tools".
- Select "Internet Options" from the tools drop down menu. In the middle of that window, there is a section titled "Temporary Internet Files".
- Select "Delete Files". This will remove all of your temporary pages that IE has stored.
- Select "Ok" to delete the files. If you want to see what your browser settings are, select "Settings" in that same section on the "Internet Options" window. There you can see how often your browser looks for new content. You can also select how much disk space you want to be set aside for your temporary pages.
Netscape:
- On the menu bar at the top, select "Edit".
- Select "Preferences" from the Edit drop-down menu.
- On the Preferences window, open up the "Advanced" Category. (The "+" sign becomes a "-" and three more categories are shown.)
- Select "Cache" under "Advanced"
- Click on "Clear Memory Cache" and click on "Ok" to confirm.
- Click on "Clear Disk Cache" and click on "Ok" to confirm.
- If you want to change your browser settings, you can do so right on this window. It is the last option setting on that Cache window.
- How do I set cookies?
If you are using the IE browser follow these steps:
To Allow All Cookies:
- Open "Tools" on the menu bar at the top of the browser
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Click on the Advanced button
- Check the box "Override automatic cookie handling"
- Check "Accept" for both "First-party Cookies" and "Third-party Cookies"
- Click Ok
- Click Ok
- Close your browser and log in again
To Allow Cookies ONLY from GSB:
- Open "Tools" on the menu bar at the top of the browser
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Click on the Sites button
- Enter "www.gsb.com" in the "Address of Web site"
- Click on "Allow"
- Click Ok
- Click Ok
- Close your browser and log in again
If you are using the Firefox browser follow these steps:
To Allow All Cookies:
- Open "Tools" on the menu bar at the top of the browser
- Click on Options
- Click on the "Privacy" picture
- Click on "+" to open up cookie options
- Click on the "Allow Sites to set cookies" checkbox
- Click Ok
- Close your browser and log in again
To Allow Cookies ONLY from GSB:
- Open "Tools" on the menu bar at the top of the browser
- Click on Options
- Click on the "Privacy" picture
- Click on "+" to open up cookie options
- Click on the "Exceptions" button
- Enter "web1.gsb.com" in "Address of web site" text box
- Click on the "Allow" button
- Click Ok
- Click Ok
- Close your browser and log in again
If you are using the IE browser follow these steps:
- Click on "Settings" in the AOL tool bar
- Click on "Browser Settings"
- Follow the above steps for the IE browser
6. I get an error when trying to access the HOMEBanker Login screen. I use Internet Explorer or AOL.
From www.gsb.com the customer clicks on Login/Enrollment but gets the error ‘State Table corrupted ( or something similar).- Right click on Internet Explorer. Go to Properties.
- Delete Cookies
- Delete Files
- Click on ADVANCED tab. Reset Defaults. Apply. OK.
